This is the privacy policy (“Policy”) that governs how we use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about you in connection with the use of our website at thebonfire.co, as well as any other website that we may operate (collectively and together with any subdomains and the content and services therein, the “Site”) and the Bonfire talent development and educational services available through the same (each, a “Service”). The Site and any Service are individually and collectively referred to herein as the “Services”.

Bonfire values and respects your privacy and protecting your information is important to us. This Policy explains how we handle the collection and use of Personal Information that we obtain and the choices that you can make about how your Personal Information is used by Bonfire. “Personal Information” means any information that can be used, alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including a first and last name, email address, or a personal profile. In some cases, IP addresses may also be considered Personal Information. Use of our Services is governed by our Terms of Service, of which this Policy is incorporated into and made a part of.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your use of our Site and Services constitutes consent to the terms contained in this Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Policy, you should not use our Site or Services. We may update this Policy periodically, and any changes will be reflected here. If the changes are significant then we will provide a more prominent notice, and at our discretion may email you a direct notification.

If you have any questions about this Policy or how we use Personal Information and similar data, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

Registration and Other Information You Provide. We collect Personal Information about you which you affirmatively choose to submit to us, such as your name, e-mail address, the name of your employer(s), job title(s), phone number(s), and mailing address. We will record and maintain your classroom and participation history(s). From time to time we may also automatically collect certain information that may be considered Personal Information, such as the IP address of your computer or network connection.

Payment Processing Information. When you make a payment in connection with purchasing the Services, Bonfire may obtain your credit card and/or other payment information.

Usage Information. We may collect other non-Personal Information such as the time and date of your visit, your location, the pages and other content that you access, and the number of times you return to the Site. This information is used in the aggregate for our internal marketing and similar purposes. We may also integrate into the website technology provided by third parties (e.g., Google Analytics) to accomplish this information collection.

If you have been granted access to the Bonfire Services through a corporate account, we do not require any Personal Information other than as set forth herein. If you have any questions or concerns about the ability of any corporate entity to access your Personal Information or furnish your Personal Information to us, you should direct those questions to the administrator of that corporate entity.

We use the information that we collect to provide you with our Services, and to learn more about how our Services are actually used and accessed. We may also use information we collect to analyze user behavior as a measure of interest in and use of the Site and may disclose such analyses to advertisers or other third parties in the form of aggregate data, such as overall patterns or demographic reports that do not describe or identify any individual user.

We also use the Personal Information we collect to improve our Site. We review information to learn about how our Site is used and accessed, and to analyze user behavior as a measure of interest in and use of our Site. We may disclose such analyses to third parties in the form of aggregate data, such as overall patterns or demographic reports that do not describe or identify any individual user. We may also use certain subsets of the same information to investigate and prosecute potential breaches of Bonfire license agreements and security policies. We also may share pertinent Personal Information with our contractors, vendors, and other affiliates and partners for the authorized purposes of processing data for marketing, research, analytics, customer support and account management.

If you provide any information, whether or not it is Personal Information, via any interactive features of the Services, or through any social media platform that Bonfire links to, you should be aware that the information you provide could be available to others, whether immediately or at some future point. If you contact us by email, please be aware that we cannot guarantee total security of email transmissions, and that what you email to us could possibly be viewed by a third party while in transit. When caused by errors, by the unauthorized acts of third parties during transmission, or by interaction with a website other than Bonfire’s, we have no liability for disclosure of any information.

Though it is not often necessary, we reserve the right to disclose Personal Information to third parties to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bonfire, our employees, or others.

We do not sell, trade, share, or rent your Personal Information to unaffiliated third parties.

We will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party except as necessary for a legitimate use as described in this Policy, in connection with a bona fide legal dispute (where the information is relevant and in response to a valid, compulsory legal process), or as otherwise required by law.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale or disposition of all or a portion of Bonfire’s assets, we may disclose Personal Information to the acquiring party(s). In that case, the successor’s use of your Personal Information will continue to be subject to this Policy unless a court orders otherwise or the successor notifies you that your Personal Information will be subject to their own privacy policy. If the successor sends you such a notification, it will include an opportunity for you to opt out. If you submit any Personal Information after such a transfer, that information will be subject to the successor’s privacy policy.

If you wish to amend or update your personal information, please contact our support team at [email protected]

We do not track users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to “do not track” signals. Third parties that have content embedded within the service such as a social feature may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific location from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from the service unless you provide it to them directly.

If you provide information in any social feature of the website (including, by way of example, via chat feature or online discussion forum), or to any other party through the website, you should be aware that your information may then be made available to others.

Our Services may contain links to, or otherwise allow you to interact with, certain third-party websites, mobile software applications, and services that are not owned or controlled by Bonfire (each a “Third Party Service”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these Third Party Services, and we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any such Third Party Service that you choose to use.

Bonfire takes commercially reasonable security and backup measures to protect the information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic security, is 100% secure. We encourage our customers and partners to retain copies of all uploaded information on their own systems.

Bonfire is not intended for nor directed to children and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age without parental consent. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, or that such personal information has otherwise been inadvertently collected, we will delete it in accordance with applicable law.

California residents have additional rights regarding Bonfire’s use of your Personal Information, including the right to give the instruction ‘Do Not Sell My Personal Information’. Other than as expressly set forth herein, Bonfire does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with third parties.

California law requires websites to disclose whether they and/or any third party(s) collect Personal Information about their users’ online activities over time and across different sites. California law also requires that we disclose how we respond to “do not track” signals and similar mechanisms.

We do not track you over time or across third-party websites. As such, we do not respond to “do not track” signals.

If you are a Nevada resident, you may ask us to add you to our opt-out list for possible future sales of certain information that we have collected or will collect about you. To submit such a request, please contact us as indicated below.
